‘The Flash’ New Trailer sees Michael Keaton “Get Nuts”

Vegas’ CinemaCon 2023 features the newly released trailer of ‘The Flash,’ providing more depth to the character’s time-traveling arc. The nearly 3-minute montage showcases remnants of the ‘92 rendition of Batman, with Michael Keaton reprising his role as Bruce Wayne. Embracing what is described as an older portrayal of the character, he briefly mentions the line: “Let’s get nuts,” possibly referring to the eventual clash of the superhuman titans.

Inspired by the events surrounding the iconic Flashpoint timeline, Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen looks to alter the past by toying with the speed force to save his parents from their untimely demise. Disrupting the flow of the universe he ventures into, “the fastest man alive” is greeted with a retired variation of the caped crusader (Keaton) and the female Kryptonian, Supergirl, played by Sasha Calle.

Argentinian director Andy Muschietti spearheads its production—the second out of four DC titles set to be released in 2023. The film shares continuity with the existing DC Universe following the events of 2017 (2021, if you consider Snyder’s cut version) Justice League.

‘The Flash’ will premiere in cinemas nationwide on June 14, 2023. Stream the new trailer on the Warner Brother’s Philippines’ Facebook and YouTube.
