Philippine apparel and accessory juggernaut BENCH treated 475 staff members to Hong Kong Disneyland, commemorating their tenure in the organization. The founder of the 1987-established retailer, Ben Chan, took a recap of the brand’s outing to social media, expressing his gratitude towards those behind its success throughout its 35-year existence
Among those receiving praise are BENCH Prime Team members Mark Sampang (10yrs), Louie Dulay (16yrs), and John Ryan Cruz (14yrs), noting their immense contributions despite being deaf and mute. Chan also introduced the brand’s foreign leadership through its China and United States arms. Ms. Lorlyn Castillo and Ms. Jaena de Juan of BENCH’s Store Operations Department were also paid tribute for their 36-year tenure.
Initially established as a mere tenant in an outlet of the SM Store to populate the nation with over 600 branches, Chan recognized the 32-year partnership with actor Richard Gomez as BENCH’s initial celebrity endorser for the brand’s first television commercial in 1991.
