Nike has revealed the new official team kits for the Gilas national team, calling it the “most athlete-informed, data-driven, and visually unified team kit the brand has ever produced.”
The jerseys, which will be worn by the men’s, women’s, 3×3, and youth basketball teams, are drenched in blue with yellow on the side for the road uniforms, while the home threads are in white with touches of red and blue – reminiscent of the colors of the Philippine flag. At the bottom hem, “Any, Every, All” is translated into Tagalog “Sinuman Bawat Lahat” — words inspired by Nike’s commitment to unity, diversity, and inclusivity.
According to Nike, player insight was also vital in the design process, ensuring a kit that met athletes’ desires for choice, comfort, and performance. “Combining Nike’s strengths in sports research and computational design with Dri-FIT ADV technology, the kits ensure that athletes will stay cool, dry, and performance-ready”, read the press release.

“Working directly with athletes throughout every stage of the design process, Nike designed garments to ensure fit across a range of body types and style preferences and infused real-time feedback throughout the entire product-development cycle,” said John Hoke, Nike Chief Innovation Officer.
Newly-minted PBA champion Chris Newsome said the jerseys remind him of the Philippines’ blue oceans and sun’s rays. “They represent the aura and natural beauty of the Philippines in a soft and elegant way, symbolizing the hospitality that Filipinos have to offer,”
Long-time Gilas member June Mar Fajardo says the jerseys are more than their designs. “I like the new jerseys, they are really nice. They are something new compared to our previous Gilas uniforms. They represent a new chapter for me and a new chapter for Gilas.”
The Philippines National Basketball Men’s Team will debut the kit on the court during the upcoming qualifiers in Latvia this July. The road jersey and fan tee collection releases July 3 exclusively on Nike.com, Nike Fort, and at Titan.
