From hearing the everso familiar David Croft introduction, the Dutchman in pole flew around the 70-lap Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, solidifying his constructor’s 100th win on Canadian soil. The achievement marks Verstappen’s sixth victory in the 2023 season, with all previous race finishes earning him a seat on the podium.
Despite being riddled with tire issues, the 2023 F1 Driver’s frontrunner is pleased with his car’s performance, possibly foretelling another dominant July 2 race weekend on his constructor’s home turf.
