The fighting pride of the Philippines exhibited his athleticism beyond the boxing ring

Eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao gave a convincing performance at OKBet-Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League’s (MPBL) All-Star All-Executive Game, held at the Bataan People's Center last Saturday, September 16, 2023

Pacquiao, league founder and CEO, finished with 33 points, 11 rebounds, and 15 assists in 38 minutes, leading the South Executives to a 114-63 victory.

Age is clearly not a factor at age 44, as Pacquiao surpassed the previous year’s All-Star Game performance of 30 points, eight rebounds, and four assists in 37 minutes. The former senator, an avid basketball fan, once debuted for the PBA in 2014 and made an appearance at the Golden State Warriors practice facility in the same year.

Most recently, Pacquiao is reportedly looking for ways to qualify and represent the Philippines at the 2024 Olympics. If approved, this would be Pacquiao’s first go at an international amateur tournament in a storied career. His last professional match was against a welterweight title fight loss to Yordenis Ugas in 2021.
