Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba) ventures into its third season run, covering the Swordsmith Village arc. The preliminary release is currently available for streaming on Netflix, featuring a nearly hour-long episode, directly following the events of the Entertainment District saga.
Set in the Taishō era, Koyoharu Gotouge’s 20-volume series tackles the adventures of orphan Tanjiro Kamado, following the demise of their family in the hands of a demon. He and his younger sister-turned-demon, Nezuko, remain as the final members of the bloodline—seeking vengeance by entering the Demon Slayer Corps.
Conceived through the artistic genius of Koyoharu Gotouge, the new season provides an animated adaptation of the events surrounding volumes 12-15 of the coveted Manga series. Demon Slayer season 3, episode 2 is set to premiere on April 16, 2023, with the remaining 9 scheduled for a weekly release.
