Ylona Garcia reemerges on Riot Games’ tactical hero shooter Valorant, this time backing Los Angeles-based franchise 100 Thieves, working alongside in-house creators Rachell Marie “Valkyrae” Hofstetter and Leslie Ann “Fuslie” Fu through “Echoes.” The Fil-Aus musician and actress previously teased the track, along with a music video on her Instagram, asking supporters for their preferred photo for its cover.
“heyyyy, so we’re totally not releasing a song this week with @100thieves…and totally not releasing a music video…and also totally not asking you to choose your favorite photo from this carousel that will potentially be the album cover…,” she mentioned through a post.

The trio sported futuristic black streetwear, which many draw assumptions to a “vampy and electronic-bop” composition, similar to Garcia’s previous collaborative track with Valorant, “Entertain Me,” in 2022, with the release of the game’s first Filipino agent, Neon voiced by Vanille Velasquez.
As “Echoes” eyes a release on February 22, 2024, 9 p.m. PST (February 23, 2024, 1 p.m. Philippine time), Garcia and Fuslie announced a virtual watch party for its debut, accompanied by a live Q&A and several rounds of Valorant that features the organization’s 2024 Valorant Champions Tour weapon skins.
