Filipino Taylor Swift impersonator, Taylor Sheesh, was struck by an aggressive spectator during her recent Bayambang, Pangasinan performance. Reports mention that the assault appeared to be an act of homophobia, as she shared her experience on social media.
While it isn’t immediately clear when the incident happened, a photo of the incident from an unknown source made rounds online, as Sheesh, otherwise known as Mac Coronel, regarded the scenario as “traumatic.”

Regardless of the unfortunate occurrence, Sheesh motioned her gratitude for the community’s “warm welcome,” the invitation from Mayor Niña Jose-Quiambao, and those who attended her 2024 Kalutan Concert set.

The municipality’s acting mayor quickly expressed her apologies, saying that “homophobia and physical abuse” are not tolerated in her hometown. She added that authorities managed to detain the assailant, noting that the “incident will be dealt with accordingly.
“I will not tolerate homophobia and physical abuse in my town. I will make sure that justice will be dealt with. I am sorry to Taylor Sheesh that someone assaulted her during her performance. Don’t worry. Authorities have the person in question and this matter and incident will be dealt with accordingly,” she mentioned.
“I will make sure that justice will be served. We condemn the acts done by a certain person whose name starts with E. We will make sure that justice will prevail. Right now, this individual is in prison and cases will be filed against him, even by Taylor Sheesh,” she continued.
