Olivia Rodrigo recently hinted at a possible stopover in the Philippines for her ‘GUTS’ world tour.
Olivia teased the idea during The Hollywood Reporter’s “Awards Chatter” podcast, where she gushed her excitement about performing in arenas and stadiums; a change from the intimate spaces she had for her debut album “Sour”.
“I’m so stoked. I think it’s going to be so much fun to play those kinds of rock songs in an arena too. I’m so excited to feel that energy. I’m so excited to go places that I haven’t been before,” she shared.
“I’m really excited to go to the Philippines — I’ve never been — so that’s going to be fun.”
The tour, named after her sophomore album, will begin in February 2024, with stops in the US and Europe. ‘GUTS’ was nominated for 6 Grammys at the 66th Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year for the lead single “Vampire”. Olivia previously won 3 Grammys for ‘Sour’, including Best New Artist.
