UPDATED 7/31 3 p.m. ET: According to a new report from TMZ, the woman who was struck by Cardi B's microphone reported the incident to the Las Vegas Police Department on Sunday.
According to TMZ's report, the microphone ricocheted off of the woman and then hit someone next to her. It is unclear who filed the report. The rapper is now a suspect of battery.
UPDATED 7/31 12 p.m. ET: Over the weekend, Cardi B was captured throwing her microphone in the crowd during a performance at Drai's Beachclub in Las Vegas, after a concertgoer splashed her in the face with water.
New footage of the incident proves that Cardi should've expected fans to throw water at her, considering the Bronx rapper asked fans to cool her off as she was “dying” from the desert's triple-digit temperatures. One video even shows Cardi leaning over the stage while her DJ encourages the crowd to hose her down.

In light of an alarming trend of audience members throwing things at performers, Cardi B is fighting back.
During a performance at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas, an audience member hurled a drink at the rapper while she performed her hit, “Bodak Yellow.” Cardi immediately retaliated by hurling her microphone back at the audience member. The video shows the person being escorted out of the crowd by security. The Invasion of Privacy rapper allegedly walked off the stage after the incident.

This isn’t the first time this weekend that Cardi has exercised her throw. The night prior at the same club, the rapper launched the microphone toward her DJ. Commenters say that they allegedly kept cutting her songs off.
