Chivas Regal is dipping their hands into Manila streetwear
Chivas Regal has tapped local streetwear brand Syndrome Supply for a collection in a move that pivots the whisky brand’s image to a younger audience. The six-piece lineup was unveiled at an invite-only launch party held at Ugly Duck Poblacion last May 13, Saturday.
The collection includes a hoodie, jacket, shirts, and a cap bearing the quote “Make Drams, Not Drama”, Syndrome’s “Lead, Never Follow” slogan, the Chivas crest and branding, and the brand’s global campaign “I Rise, We Rise” which most recently featured BLACKPINK’s Lisa.
“This campaign ties into our ‘I Rise, We Rise’ platform which is about celebrating and elevating the next generation of entrepreneurs and artists who are forging their paths to success, while bringing their crew along with them”, says brand ambassador Owen Roberts.
The collection marks the second partnership between Chivas and Syndrome Supply, who first collaborated on a one-off tee that sold out upon debut at Bonifacio High Street. A follow-up became a no-brainer.
“The streetwear scene is strong in Manila and Syndrome grabbed our attention with their bold and eye-catching designs. We’re always on the lookout for rising talent.”, says Roberts.
