WATCH: Kai Sotto is PUMA’s First Filipino Ambassador

Kai Sotto marks another milestone as PUMA’s first Filipino brand ambassador.

The spots brand unveiled the partnership with the 7’2 Sotto during a preview party of its Autumn/Winter collection at Whitespace Manila. The phenom plays for the Hiroshima Dragonflies in Japan’s B. League, averaging 10.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game.

“Hey, PUMA fam. Guess who’s the new cat in the PUMA squad?” said Sotto, while wearing Lamelo Ball’s signature PUMAs, the MB.02 ‘Flare’. “Together, we’re gonna make some big moves on and off the court.”

Kai Sotto, who many Filipinos hope becomes the first homegrown talent to make it to the NBA, joins a roster of notables from the association, like Deandre Ayton (Phoenix Suns), RJ Barrett (New York Knicks), Kyle Kuzma (Washington Wizards), and Terry Rozier (Charlotte Hornets).
