Abi Marquez appeared at a signing of Benny Blanco and Jess Damuck’s “Open Wide: A Cookbook For Friends,” seemingly on behalf of all Filipinos as she reminds the Grammy-nominated artist of his “unsatisfactory” experience of trying Jollibee for the first time. The foodie reportedly paid $35 (∼₱2,051) to get up close and personal with Blanco, mentioning that she’s “from the land of Jollibee.”
Philippines’ “Lumpia Queen” took her experience on social media, eating what appears to be Jolly Spaghetti and lip-syncing her iconic Webby Awards 2024 line with Blanco and Damuck seated in the background. The internet appears to be intrigued with Marquez’s interaction with Blanco, asking the content creator how Blanco received the comment, disclosing that he “was nice” and jokingly “laughed it off.”
Blanco’s previous TikTok, which garnered over 9.5 million views, 236,000 likes, and 38,000 comments as of writing did not sit well with the internet, as they expressed their concerns regarding his “disrespectful behavior.”
