Drill Hip-Hop Trio Triflouride Drops ‘Bloody Mary’ MV

Zamboanga-based rap trio TriFlouride has released the music video for their third single ‘Bloody Mary’. The act, composed of BL, Strict, and Yung Youz, has been making noise in the Manila Drill hip-hop scene by incorporating their native dialect Tausug in between lyrics of English and Tagalog.

Themes familiar with gangster rap are present: the “world is mine” mentality and flexes that can be summarized as “I’m the best”. It’s the type of energy to be expected from an eager up-and-comer, and the enthusiasm of the trio to release more music is infectious.

“We find connection through Drill Hiphop and share the same bond,” says Yung Youz. The MV’s premiere was held at Cirqua Makati, attended by hip-hop notables, including Morobeats talents and  “Best 20 Hip-Hop Artists in their 20s” inclusions, Fateeha and JMARA.
